As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment through clear communication and attention to detail. Pre-Employment Requirements

Valid Driver's License

• All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

Additional Qualifications (Beneficial to Position)

• While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered beneficial and may enhance a candidate's application:
  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Experience with access control systems and badge management is advantageous for positions that involve security or facility management.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential for roles that require digital communication, data entry, or software usage.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting irregularities according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, client requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Maintain a professional presence at a financial institution location to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
