Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment for the Assurance/Audit Line of Business at RSM. This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute hiring strategies, deliver against workforce plans, and lead a high-performing recruitment team.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Assurance recruitment within a global professional services environment, including hiring Chartered Accountants (CAs), ACCAs, and qualified and semi-qualified audit professionals. The role requires strong workforce planning, stakeholder management, market intelligence, and people leadership capabilities.

Strategic Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with Assurance business goals and workforce plans.
• Partner with business leaders and resource management teams to forecast hiring demand, prioritize requisitions, and deliver hiring outcomes.
• Lead recruitment planning for experienced Assurance talent, including CAs, ACCAs, and semi-qualified professionals.
• Identify hiring risks, market challenges, and talent gaps, and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Assurance recruitment team.
• Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and capability building across the team.
• Optimize resource allocation and recruiter productivity based on business demand.

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership

• Serve as a strategic talent advisor to Assurance leadership and hiring managers.
• Provide market intelligence and guidance on hiring feasibility, sourcing strategies, compensation trends, and talent availability.
• Establish governance routines to review hiring progress, risks, and priorities.

Operational Excellence & Talent Intelligence

• Monitor recruitment metrics and drive continuous process improvement.
• Leverage data, technology, and analytics to enhance recruiting effectiveness.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Assurance talent markets, competitor hiring activity, and workforce trends.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Partner with TA leaders and business stakeholders to share best practices and talent insights.
• Support recruitment transformation initiatives, employer branding efforts, and adoption of new sourcing and recruiting technologies.

 Required Qualifications & Experience

• MBA in HR preferred.
• 12+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within Big 4/Big 6 or similar professional services organizations.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading Assurance/Audit recruitment, including hiring CAs, ACCAs, and qualified/semi-qualified professionals.
• Strong understanding of the US Assurance talent market, workforce planning, and hiring trends.
• Demonstrated success managing complex hiring portfolios and partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Experience driving recruitment strategy, talent acquisition operations, and team performance.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, recruiting technologies, and talent analytics.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience leading Talent Acquisition for an Assurance/Audit or professional services business.
• Expertise in workforce planning, recruitment transformation, and process improvement.
• Experience working with global stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Exposure to recruitment analytics, automation, employer branding, and sourcing innovation.
