Electrical Project Engineer
Brisbane | Sydney | Melbourne
$150,000 – $170,000 + Superannuation
Add Staff Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian electrical engineering and manufacturing group to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Engineer.
With over 50 years of industry experience, our client delivers specialised electrical solutions for major infrastructure, resources, renewable energy, data centre and industrial projects across Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to technically complex electrical projects, working alongside experienced engineering and project delivery teams within an established national business.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Engineering Manager, you will coordinate engineering activities across allocated projects, supporting the successful delivery of electrical equipment and power distribution solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate electrical engineering activities and technical deliverables across allocated projects.
Review electrical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
Provide technical support to Project Managers, manufacturing teams and project stakeholders.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical requirements.
Support technical evaluations, procurement activities and engineering design reviews.
Coordinate engineering deliverables to meet project milestones and quality requirements.
Assist with technical issues throughout manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning.
About You
We are seeking an experienced electrical engineering professional with:
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within switchboard manufacturing, electrical contracting or electrical equipment supply.
Strong technical knowledge of LV/HV equipment, switchboards and power distribution systems.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
Experience coordinating engineering activities across project teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
A practical, solutions-focused approach to engineering and project delivery.
