Description
Compensation: $90K base + $10K MBO, plus $600/month car allowance and gas card, benefits and expenses and 5,000 shares of stock.

This is a particularly attractive transition opportunity because you're potentially taking someone making ~$65K, often without a full benefits package and paying their own expenses, into approximately $100K total target compensation plus car allowance, benefits and expenses.
Sports medicine experience is NOT required

The critical issue is OR competency and confidence, not specialty.
She also explained that the actual procedure is relatively straightforward because there is essentially one primary product/procedure with a few variations. So someone who already understands OR dynamics can be trained on the product.
What they don't want:
- Brand-new medical-device salespeople
- Candidates with no OR experience
- Someone who will need six months before they can comfortably cover cases
- Someone unwilling to travel
- Someone uncomfortable driving in Colorado mountain conditions in the snow
The manager specifically emphasized that this person needs to be able to jump on a plane when necessary—even with relatively short notice—and be comfortable driving in the mountains during winter.
