Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking for an opportunity to build a career in healthcare? The Eye Clinic of North Dakota is seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Bismarck!

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will work closely with our ophthalmologists and optometrists, ensuring efficient coordination of patient scheduling, surgical arrangements, and appropriately directing patient phone calls. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in healthcare who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

No previous medical office experience? That's okay! We are open to training the right candidate who has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Assist with patient billing questions and collect payments.
• Follow-up with patients regarding appointments, surgical readiness, and postoperative care.
• Navigate changing schedules and accommodate urgent patient needs when necessary.
• Document in patients charts.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare setting experience is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using computers and learning electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Monday – Friday schedule
• Travel to satellite clinic locations as needed with some extended hours/flex time
• No weekends, or holidays
