Make a Difference Through Movement
The Stateline Family YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, welcoming, and dependable Group Fitness Instructors to lead fitness classes designed for active older adults. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others stay active, healthy, and connected while creating a positive and supportive class environment.
Instructors will lead safe, engaging classes that promote strength, balance, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and overall wellness for participants of all fitness levels.
Schedule Requirements
- Available to teach between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM
- Willing to teach at either YMCA branch location
- Flexible scheduling based on program needs
What You'll Do
- Lead group fitness classes for active older adults
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere
- Provide modifications to support varying fitness levels
- Promote member engagement and safe exercise practices
- Represent the YMCA mission and values through positive interactions

Qualifications
- Group fitness experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable leading and engaging groups
- Passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals
- CPR/AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Training provided for the right candidate
