Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to provide occasional evening cleaning coverage at the American Heart Association's corporate campus in Dallas.  This opportunity is ideal for someone with commercial cleaning, corporate housekeeping, or custodial experience who takes pride in their work and is interested in earning supplemental / extra income without committing to a regular part-time schedule.

Important: This is a PRN (as-needed) position, not a regularly scheduled part-time job. Shifts are offered based on staffing needs, including employee absences and vacations. Hours are not guaranteed, and you may not be scheduled every week. However, when needed, you may be called with only a moments notice.

What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash, replenish supplies, and maintain assigned workspaces.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Work independently to complete assigned responsibilities.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional corporate environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous commercial cleaning, corporate housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability for occasional weekday evening shifts, typically 6:00 PM–10:00 PM.
• Flexibility to accept coverage shifts when needed, sometimes with short notice.
• Comfortable with occasional work and no guaranteed weekly hours.

Requirements

• Ideal Candidates will have some commercial cleaning, corporate housekeeping, or custodial experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and 7 year criminal background check!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout assigned shifts.
• Ability to push or pull cleaning carts and equipment.
