In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting CNC control system software on CNC-based equipment. This role focuses on creating reliable, user-friendly machine control programs that support the integration of PLC, HMI, motion, and CNC control systems. Experience with FANUC CNC controls and CNC programming is required. This position is a temp to perm or direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- 2+ years of experience programming industrial controls for CNC systems
- Strong aptitude in ladder logic programming
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
- Technical writing experience highly recommended
- Proficient troubleshooting skills, including root-cause analysis of electrical and software issues
- Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability
- FANUC CNC programming_(Macro programming, PMC ladder logic, G-code optimization,Servo tuning,Parameter setup)
- Physical Demands (lift or move up to 50 pounds)
