Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong
The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

China Hong KongJob Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage and support UNIX/Linux, database, middleware, server, storage, and backup platform.
• Act as infrastructure focal point to support the implementation of business application systems.
• Lead the team in executing upgrades and migrations, like OS, SAN storage, and database.
• Assist to define technical standards, configuration baselines, security policies, and admission specifications across the infrastructure landscape, and ensure adherence to these requirements.
• Evaluate and implement automation to improve the patching, capacity monitoring, configuration management, data backup/recovery management.
• Support the Disaster Recovery strategies; design HA and DR architectures and support DR drills.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on infrastructure architecture and design.
• Participate in infrastructure support, governance and control and audit.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Enforce and execute problem and change management procedures.
Requirements:
• Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 10 years’ in-depth experience in Unix/Linux server, SAN storage, backup tools, middleware, database implementation and support.
• Certification in OCP and/or RHCE preferred
• PMP/ITIL certification is also an added advantage
• Certification in Ansible, Kubernetes, ELK and/or Cloud preferred
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Able to manage vendors to perform project implementation and BAU supports.
• At least 10 years’ experience in supporting UNIX/Linux and storage devices (Huawei, NetApp, DELL), backup tools (CommVault/Netbackup), middleware (WAS/Weblogic/Jboss/Tomcat) and database (Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL).
• Solid working experience in Commvault , SAN storage and SAN switch administration.
• Familiar with Ansible, shell scripting is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to work or support production issue during non-office hours.
