Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and execute industrial projects within Brazil. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering strong client relationships.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage all aspects of industrial projects in Brazil from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget forecasting, and schedule management.
* Manage project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure efficient collaboration and performance.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, internal teams, and senior management, providing clear and concise project updates.
* Ensure adherence to FLSmidth's quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies throughout all project phases.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
* Conduct project reviews and post-mortems to identify lessons learned and improve future project execution.
* Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business development.
* Manage project documentation, including reports, presentations, and technical specifications.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial preferred) or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in project management within the industrial sector, preferably in mining, cement, or similar heavy industries.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex industrial projects in Brazil.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP certification is a plus).
* Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Willingness to travel extensively within Brazil and occasionally internationally as required.
