Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Shell and Solid mesh generation of Rubber, Metal and Plastic Parts using Hypermesh
• Responsible for carrying out the complete FEA with Abaqus.
• Follow the customer guidelines and ensure the quality of generated mesh & the results provided.

• Meeting the time lines agreed
• Understanding the Customer specific and other standards (IS, DIN etc.)

Support the NA Product Engineering team by creating 2D drawings for products designed 2D drawings could be either Catia or NX CAD platform 2D drawings should follow current VC CAD standards 2D drawings should align with current ISO drawings standards

Consistently apply GD&T standards across 2D drawings for Motor Mount and Isolator & Damper product lines Conduct geometric stack-up analysis if requested by Product Engineering

Wost Case and/or Root Sum of Squares

Test fixture support 3D and 2D based on VC standards

• CFT member for RFQ initial feasibility
• New innovations

Qualifications:

BE/ B Tech/ M Tech- Mechanical or Automobile

3 – 5 years

Hands on experience on Hypermesh Good  approach to mesh the complex geometry Hands on experience on FEA using ABAQUS ( Preference), Ansysis or other solver

Develop 2D drawings in alignment with VC & Customer Standards for Catia & NX platforms (Catia preferred)

Consistently apply GD&T across BU 2D drawings

Execute geometric stack-ups if required by Product Engineering Good understanding of strength of materials
