Key Responsibilities
- Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 4 AM to 1:30 PM
What you’ll be doing:
- Reports to their department manager, while assisting with training in their home department when needed.
- Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates utilizing approved training materials.
- Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material.
- Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.
- Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires
- Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities.
- Maintains a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- HS Diploma or equivalent desirable
- Experience training peers or groups desirable
- Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups of students (5+ people) desirable
- Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) desirable
- Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized
- Written and verbal communication skills
- High Influencing
- Willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment; Experience in fast paced environment
- Strong relationship building skills
