DEPARTMENT: Quality
REPORTS TO: Quality Manager
EFFECTIVE DATE: 3/23/2022
SUMMARY:
Provides direction and quality support to production personnel. Communicates customer quality standards and expectations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Measures and inspects production parts. Reports inspection findings to production personnel and assures corrective actions are effective. Reports non-conforming material. Executes quality Audits of production areas. All other duties assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervision responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Quality experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
- High School diploma.
- Able to communicate clearly both written verbally.
- Able to work free of direct supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
- Computer skills required: (Excel, Word,).
- Skills in measuring equipment and hand tools, (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gages, etc.).
