Chef de Cuisine


Join our dynamic culinary team as an Chef de Cuisine, where you will lead the daily operations of our restaurant or culinary outlet, creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their leadership skills, drive innovation, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service.

- Develop and execute seasonal menus in collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring creativity and consistency.

- Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing culinary team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

- Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize food quality to achieve financial targets.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage department to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

- Monitor kitchen performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork within the culinary department.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Chef de Cuisine or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant or culinary setting.

- Strong culinary skills with a passion for innovative cuisine and presentation.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.

- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and health regulations.

- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize operational efficiency.

- Creative mindset with the ability to develop appealing menus.

- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.

Requirements

  

· Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience. 

· Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts, country clubs, or high-volume restaurants. 

· Previous experience leading multiple culinary teams. 

· ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). 

· Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, budgeting, and forecasting. 

· Excellent communication and leadership skills. 

· Strong organizational and time-management abilities. 

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems. 

· Flexible schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
