Reporting into the market leadership team, you will lead a high-performing commercial organization, define and execute market strategies, and foster strong partnerships with customers, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished commercial executive who combines strategic vision with operational excellence and has a proven track record of delivering business growth, leading organizational transformation, and developing high-performing teams.
Location: The role should be ideally based in Milan, and it requires regular travel to customers, Philips offices, and business meetings as required

You are responsible for
Define and execute the Go-to-Market strategy for the Cardiology portfolio in Italy, Israel, Greece, Cyprus and Malta ensuring alignment with business priorities and commercial objectives.
Lead successful New Product Introductions (NPIs) by partnering with Business, Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective market launches.
Build strong partnerships with Business Marketing and Sales leadership to align strategic priorities and accelerate business performance.
Drive commercial excellence by identifying opportunities to grow market share, improve customer engagement, and achieve sustainable business growth.
Foster strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, healthcare professionals, and cardiology societies to strengthen Philips' market position.
Lead the development and execution of market strategies that create customer value while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
Promote operational excellence by applying Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to simplify processes and improve execution.
Ensure effective planning, prioritization, and execution of business objectives, meeting agreed timelines and performance targets.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial organization through effective talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee development.
Manage budgets and business performance, including P&L accountability where applicable.
Act as a role model for Philips Leadership Behaviors and ensure compliance with Philips General Business Principles.

You could be an excellent fit if you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or a related field.
10+ years of commercial experience in the Italian cardiology market.
Strong expertise in Interventional Cardiology, including Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Complex PCI (C-PCI), and Structural Heart(SH).
Proven success driving commercial growth and launching new products (NPI).
Extensive experience leading, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams.
Strong track record of building trusted relationships with key customers, channel partners, healthcare professionals, and cardiology societies across Italy.
Experience managing commercial performance, including pricing, contract negotiations, and financial planning.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
Strategic thinker with the ability to turn strategy into effective execution.
Customer-focused, with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Strong ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
Resilient and adaptable, with experience leading teams through change.
Native Italian and fluent English language skills
Results-driven, with a high level of accountability for business performance.
Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire future leaders.
