Description
Child Mental Health Therapist, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
Join our play therapy team! We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about helping others grow and can provide the personal touch that our families are often looking for. Embracing ongoing professional development opportunities is essential to this role, in addition to creating relationships based on connection and effective treatment strategies. It is important for you to feel empowered as a provider by experiencing yourself as continuing to gain knowledge and expertise in your chosen niche. We have a thriving child therapy team, and we'd like to add an additional provider to meet the ongoing demand for therapists who specialize in working with children.
We are seeking a therapist who has proven experience in supporting children. Preferred therapist will have play therapy experience and is either credentialed as a play therapist or wants to participate in the play therapy credentialing program at The Hazel Counseling Center for Families and Children to become a Registered Play Therapist.
This position will be a 3-4 day per week employment position, including after-school hours to accommodate school schedules. Play therapy supervision is provided as part of the employment contract as a W2 employee. For a credentialed play therapist, there is an opportunity to also provide supervision.
In addition, the practice owner is seeking someone either familiar with or wanting to learn how to apply interpersonal neurobiology into interventions for clients of all ages as a foundation for understanding client needs, in addition to using specialized knowledge with a preferred focus.
Position includes:
- Thoughtful therapist to client matching with an emphasis on a good fit
- Consistent per-session pay scale
- Bonus structure
- W2 position with 401(k) benefit for licensed clinicians
- Practice has long-term standing in the community with a wide referral base
- Support and encouragement of ongoing professional development with an annual education stipend
- Dedicated play spaces and an outdoor nature area for large motor play
- Practice is a combination of insurance-based and self-pay reimbursement
