IT & Data Product Analyst – Cycles and Procurement

The IT & Data Product Analyst supports C&P (Procurement / Source-to-Pay) digital products by translating business needs into clear functional requirements, supporting Agile delivery, and ensuring high quality solutions for procurement users.

The role works closely with the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure stability, evolution, and adoption of C&P solutions across the region.

Required Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

• Experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within IT / Data.
• Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. Jira).
• Ability to write clear and structured functional requirements and user stories.

Business & Domain Knowledge

• Experience in Procurement / Source-to-Pay domain (e.g., sourcing, purchasing, invoicing, supplier management).
• Understanding of procurement processes, KPIs (e.g., spend under management, compliance, cycle time), and cross-functional impacts.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders to shape requirements and configure solutions aligned with business outcomes.

Systems & Data

• 4+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or system support roles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM and at least one other procurement-related application.
• Experience with S/4HANA or cloud-based procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa).
• TradeShift, or similar solutions
• OSGT or other Foreign Trade system
• Brazil Localization
• Understanding of ERP integrations and master data concepts (vendor, purchasing org, materials/services).
• Excel proficiency: data analysis, reconciliation, large dataset handling.
• Integration literacy (APIs, Idocs, EDI, middleware such as MuleSoft, error handling, monitoring).
• Comfortable working with data analysis, testing, and issue investigation.
• Understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay ecosystem integration.

 

Language Requirements

• English fluency is mandatory (role supports US, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico).
• Spanish fluency is required (role based in Mexico with daily interactions in Spanish).
• Portuguese is a plus (due to Brazil scope).

• Structured, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

 

Education

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years in procurement technology or IT transformation roles
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end C&P workstream (e.g., sourcing, P2P,)
