We’re seeking a friendly, confident, and professional Casual Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a warm welcome and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help manage guest arrivals, seating arrangements, and reservations while ensuring every visitor receives attentive and personalised service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What you will do
Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and friendly approach upon arrival
Manage restaurant reservations and maintain accurate booking records
Escort guests to their tables and provide information about the venue and facilities
Coordinate seating plans to maximise guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Communicate effectively with restaurant, bar, and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
Handle guest enquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally
Maintain a clean and organised reception and waiting area
Support the wider Food & Beverage team during busy periods as required
Follow all company policies and health & safety procedures
What You’ll Bring
Previous hospitality, customer service, or host/hostess experience is preferred but not essential
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
A positive, welcoming, and professional attitude
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues
Flexibility to work casual shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
