Description
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux/Unix server environments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Shell Scripts to automate operational and administrative tasks.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot Oracle SQL and MySQL queries for application support and reporting.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix to ensure system availability and performance.
- Manage source code repositories and deployment processes using GitLab.
- Support artifact management and deployment through JFrog.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Work closely with application, database, and infrastructure teams to support system enhancements and deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and release activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration or application support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix commands and administration.
- Solid experience in Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and MySQL query language.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL performance tuning.

- GitLab
- JFrog
- Zabbix Monitoring
- Experience troubleshooting production environments and resolving technical incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with database administration concepts is an advantage.
- Experience with application deployment and release management.
- ITIL knowledge or experience working in an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment is a plus.
