Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, software deployment support, and troubleshooting for client environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, APIs, networking, and production issue resolution while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to support SLAs. The role involves remote and onsite support, deployments, upgrades, and collaboration with clients to deliver reliable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Windows Servers, APIs, mobile OS, and other product-related issues.
- Deploy software in client environments and perform onsite visits when required.
- Strong hands-on experience with IIS Server and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Deploy releases using IIS for new deployments or upgrades, including Angular hosting and APIs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service for all support queries.
- Take ownership of user issues and proactively resolve them.
- Handle deployment of service releases, patches, requests, and customizations (onsite or remote).
- Ensure adherence to strict SLAs for response and resolution times.
- Provide support via phone, remote access, and email.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for production issues.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and networking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for APIs, Angular applications, IIS, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates and SSL-related troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of IIS configuration and issue resolution.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of mobile OS (iOS, Android) basics.
- Understanding of IT security concepts and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with VAPT / penetration testing findings for IIS-based applications.
- Experience configuring DNS and SSL certificates.
- Basic scripting knowledge (SQL and others), SQL Cluster, and log shipping.
- Understanding of networking concepts (ports, NAT, port forwarding, etc.).
- Exposure to DevOps practices.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in relevant technologies.
Additional Requirement
- Candidate must be based in Bangalore (mandatory).
- Initial training will be provided from the Mumbai office for 2-3 months.
