About You

We are looking for a professional and energetic Construction Apprenticeship Assessment Assessor that is quality driven to join our team.

As a Construction Apprenticeship Assessment Assessor, you will be predominantly completing Apprenticeship Assessments in the trades that you are qualified to deliver.

You must have a professional manner and be able to actively manage your assessment caseload ensuring you meet the required deadlines, quality standards and service level agreements for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Conduct Apprenticeship Assessments within your main areas of competence and experience
• Ensure timely completion of all required assessment follow up and documentation within the EPA system, in line with quality assurance requirements and service level agreements
• Attend and contribute to standardisation events for Apprenticeship assessment
• Manage your own caseload of apprentices through their Apprenticeship Assessments
• Provide assessment feedback to Construction EPA Company quality requirements and within SLA
• Complete required CPD in accordance with Construction EPA Company regulators requirements
• Complete training as required to maintain own competence

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications

​

• Must hold a current UK qualification for workplace vocational assessors or a Workplace Competence Assessor Award such as a Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Workplace and continue to practice to that standard.
• Be occupationally competent with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant industrial experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the last 5 years working in the Groundwork Industry or have taken relevant and current CPD in Groundwork in the last 5 years
• Be qualified in a construction craft vocational qualification at L2 or above e.g. bricklaying, construction operations or equivalent
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to travel as necessary to fulfil the duties of the post

• ​Experience of conducting End-point Assessments/Apprenticeship Assessments
• Experience of supporting apprentices
