Regional FP&A Analyst

Purpose of the Role

Supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities by delivering accurate data, structured analysis, and insights to enable informed decision-making, while working under guidance on more complex tasks. They support day to day Core FP&A activities. Their responsibilities require attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Planning and Forecasting:

• Support Core FP&A in development and maintenance of detailed financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regional and business objectives

2. Analysis and Optimization:

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

• Support development of recommendations to optimise costs and improve resource allocation

3. Reporting and Financial Insights:

• Prepare and support delivery of regular financial reports and presentations, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast

• Generate clear insights on key performance drivers to support management decision-making

4. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on financial priorities and ensure understanding of performance drivers

• Support discussions on performance and accountability against financial targets

5. Governance and Control:

• Assist in monitoring adherence to budgets and financial policies, highlighting risks and escalating as appropriate

6. Scenario Modeling and Risk Assessment:

• Support scenario modelling to assess the financial impact of business changes

• Analyze, assess, and highlight financial risks and opportunities

7. Support for Regional FP&A Initiatives:

• Contribute to FP&A initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements, and planning cycles

8. Data Integrity and Process Improvement:

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data

• Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation to enhance efficiency, standardisation, and quality of FP&A processes

Knowledge and Experience

• 4 years bachelors degree in Business, Economics or Finance.

• 4 years of professional experience in similar role

• Experience in data analysis in fast paced enviroments

• Strong analytical mindset

• Knowledge of cost structures and margin analysis and full understanding of a P&L & FCF

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI and Tableau.

• Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish.

Compensation

The starting base salary is 42,300 EUR fix gross per year + Benefits
