Ingredient Mixer Operator

---

• Prepare icings, ganache, fillings, and other dessert mixtures according to production recipes.
• Accurately measure, weigh, and combine ingredients.
• Perform basic math calculations to adjust recipes for partial batches.
• Load ingredients into industrial mixing equipment.
• Lift and handle ingredient bags, boxes, and containers throughout the shift.
• Scoop ingredients using production tools when required.
• Monitor mixing times, consistency, and product quality.
• Inspect ingredients to ensure they meet quality standards before use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Important: This position includes cleaning and sanitation tasks as part of regular job responsibilities, such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash. Candidates must be comfortable performing these duties.

 

 

Physical Activity & Work Conditions:

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to shovel and transfer bulk ingredients into industrial mixing equipment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezers.
• Ability to work safely around food allergens including chocolate, wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts.

 

 

Shift Schedules:

• 1st Shift: (12:00AM – 8:00AM)
• 2nd Shift: (8:00AM – 4:00PM)
• 3rd Shift: (4:00PM – 12:00AM)

Please Note: Schedules may change based on production demands, candidates must be flexible and available to work assigned schedules, including weekends and extended hours when needed.

 

 

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• Perform basic math calculations to accurately scale recipes up or down based on production needs.
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and production formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to assist in different areas as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully pass a background check and rapid drug screen.
