Join our innovative team at Micron in the dynamic city of Boise, ID, as a Sr Eng, Manufacturing Engineer - Wet Process! This pivotal role offers an outstanding opportunity to improve manufacturing performance and capacity in our modern Wet Process area. You'll be at the forefront of reducing operational risks and ensuring seamless, world-class production processes.
Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve systemic Wet Process area issues impacting efficiency, cycle time, and operational risk, and model capacity planning
Drive area performance using clear metrics, risk assessments, and data-informed capital decisions
Effectively partner with Industrial Engineering, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Operations cross-functional teams to evaluate and influence capacity scenarios and mitigation plans
Analyze operational data to communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Through strong leadership, optimally collaborate with collaborators to drive projects, lead strategic meetings, and drive capacity management
Lead safety and quality efforts including audits, good catches, and human QDR follow-up
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a semiconductor Engineering equivalent degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 3+ years of deep experience driving semiconductor equipment capacity planning or semiconductor area process engineering required with proficiency using SQL, Python, and Tableau planning and visualization tools
Experience supporting Wet processes
Demonstrated experience with fab capacity planning, floor scheduling, line management systems, and fab operations
Strong ability to prioritize effectively while leading and influencing in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing or deploying area-level operational management tools or techniques
Background validating planning assumptions or supporting area-level long-term planning
Experience driving consistent manufacturing procedures across cross-functional teams
Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes
