- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading docks, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Assist with maintaining a professional, orderly access-control environment by communicating site requirements, directing visitors, and reporting unusual conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
