Lead Clinical Excellence at a Premier Adolescent Behavioral Health Facility
Youth Care Treatment Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations for our residential and day treatment programs serving adolescents ages 12–17. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a nursing professional passionate about behavioral healthcare, staff development, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a mission-driven environment.
Your Impact as Director of Nursing:
As Director of Nursing, you will provide leadership for nursing services across our adolescent treatment programs, ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. You will partner closely with medical, clinical, and operational leaders to support positive patient outcomes while fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for all nursing operations
- Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Support individualized treatment planning and continuity of care for adolescent patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and behavioral health leadership
- Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, accreditation, and facility standards
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and nursing excellence initiatives

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Utah or eligible for endorsement)
- Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred.
- 6 + years’ experience as a registered nurse preferred
- 3 years of registered nursing experience required.
- Experience, preferably in behavioral health, residential treatment, psychiatric, or adolescent healthcare settings preferred.
- 2+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience (Manager, Supervisor, Assistant DON, DON) required.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and quality standard
