Why This Role Is Critical
The Software Engineer is a key contributor to the engineering team, supporting software development, maintenance, testing, and product enhancement activities. This role increases development capacity, helps accelerate product delivery, and serves as a foundation for developing future technical leaders within the organization.
What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
• Utilizes test-driven development and design techniques to implement unit tests for assigned feature areas or software components.• Assists product owners with establishing clearly defined requirements and developing user stories.• Assists product owners with composing technical details for statements of work.• Recognizes classes of problems and derive solutions.• Contributes to the formation of engineering standards and software development best practices.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 0 years is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.• Basic knowledge of programming concepts and languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar), with the ability to work from detailed specifications. Understanding of software testing processes, including test case review, test witnessing, and certification. Knowledge of DevOps culture, practices andtools. • Basic knowledge of managing and maintaining third-party application installations and configurations. • Ability to identify and resolve fundamental software or system issues. • Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data. • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. • Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience a plus.
Total Rewards Package
- Salary: $66,000 - $86,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
