Trading Operations Analyst Internship: Summer 2027

Overview

Susquehanna is looking for highly motivated full-time students for our 10-week Trading Operations summer internship program based at our US Headquarters. This program offers students currently enrolled at universities in Hong Kong or Singapore the opportunity to intern in the US with the intention of long-term placement in our Hong Kong office.

 

Trading Operations sits at the intersection of trading, technology, and external counterparties - providing you with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and contribute to impactful projects that drive our success.

 

Throughout your internship, you’ll work closely with our core team and rotate across different trading desks such as Options, ETF, Treasury and Equity Finance, gaining hands-on experience. Each rotation is designed to deepen your knowledge and broaden your perspective on how our trading ecosystem functions.

 

If you have a keen interest in the financial markets, collaborating with traders while up-skilling technically then the Trading Operations internship could be for you.

• Penultimate Year Student: Confirmed plan to graduate by June 2028 from a Hong Kong or Singapore University.
• Problem Solver: You enjoy solving puzzles and love when you discover a solution to difficult problems. You’re not afraid to discuss ideas and work with others to find the optimal solution.
• Communicator: You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with. You enjoy sharing ideas, expressing your thoughts and listening to the views of others.
• Ambitious: You constantly set yourself goals in life and give your all to achieve them. Be it in Arts, Sports, Academics or another passion you have, you’re not afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.
• Numerical + Logical: When it comes to decision making, you use clear and sound reasoning. You’re rational and like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions.
• Curious: You’re eager to find out more about what it’s like to work in the Finance sector, and specifically Trading Operations. Have a passion and identifiable interest in the financial markets and current affairs.
• Penultimate Year Student: Confirmed plan to graduate by December 2027 from an Australian or New Zealand University.
