About FIS
We are FIS. Our technology powers the world’s economy and our teams bring innovation to life. We champion diversity to deliver the best products and solutions for our colleagues, clients and communities. If you’re ready to start learning, growing and making an impact with a career in fintech, we’d like to know: Are you FIS?
About the role
We are looking for a commercial product lead who can help shape the future of workflow process management within Investor Services, improving how financial services organisations operate, make decisions and deliver value to their clients.
Across financial services, organisations continue to face pressure from manual processes, fragmented systems and complex workflows that limit visibility, increase operational risk and reduce agility. This role sits at the centre of that challenge, helping FIS define and deliver workflow-led product solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen control and support scalable operating models.
As Commercial Product Manager Lead, you will define and execute product strategy, roadmap and commercial outcomes for workflow process management solutions across Investor Services. You will act as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, sales, marketing, operations and engineering teams to ensure products deliver measurable customer value and business growth.
This is not a delivery-only role. You will be expected to drive product direction through customer insight, commercial impact and bold thinking, with a focus on how workflow automation, data and intelligent process management can transform Investor Services operations.
About the team
You will work with product, design, engineering, commercial and operational teams who are focused on solving real client problems, not simply maintaining existing systems. The team values customer understanding, practical innovation, fast but considered decision-making and a willingness to challenge when something does not make sense.
What you will do
Own the workflow process management product area as a business, not just a roadmap, driving adoption, retention and measurable commercial impact.
Define and communicate the product vision, strategic direction and roadmap for workflow process management within Investor Services.
Get close to customers and internal stakeholders to understand how Investor Services teams operate, where workflows break down and where manual processes create friction or risk.
Identify opportunities to replace manual, fragmented or inefficient processes with scalable workflows supported by automation, data and product-led design.
Translate complex customer, operational and market requirements into clear product initiatives, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Partner with engineering and delivery teams to prioritise product backlogs and ensure successful delivery of product releases and enhancements.
Build business cases for new features, product enhancements and strategic initiatives that support commercial growth and customer value.
Partner with Sales, Presales, Customer Success, Operations, Compliance, Support and other internal teams to align product direction with customer needs and business objectives.
Support go-to-market positioning by helping teams communicate product value through real customer outcomes rather than features alone.
Track product performance, customer adoption, commercial impact and opportunities for optimisation across the product lifecycle.
What we are looking for
Significant experience in product management, product ownership or a related commercial product role.
Experience defining product strategies and product roadmaps.
Strong understanding of customer workflows, process management and automation opportunities.
Ability to translate customer, market and operational requirements into effective product solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple business functions.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of how product decisions influence revenue, retention, adoption and growth.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to operate in ambiguity and move forward without waiting for full direction.
Highly desirable experience
Experience within financial services, fintech or enterprise software products.
Experience with workflow solutions, SaaS or enterprise software products.
Experience supporting sales, client-facing engagements or customer value conversations.
Experience with automation, operational efficiency, financial controls, governance, reporting or decision-making capabilities.
Experience with API-enabled platforms and integrations.
The successful candidate will be measured on:
Customer adoption and retention.
Product profitability and commercial contribution.
Delivery of strategic roadmap objectives.
Customer satisfaction and stakeholder engagement.
Market competitiveness and achievement of product OKRs.
Partnership effectiveness across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Delivery and Operations.
