Senior Software Technologist I - TestJob Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive automation-first quality engineering for iApps clinical applications by combining strong hands-on C# automation expertise with team leadership. You will contribute to faster, reliable product releases through scalable automation frameworks, continuous verification, and strong stakeholder alignment.
You are responsible for
- Designing and implementing test automation frameworks and solutions using C#
- Defining and executing automation strategy aligned to quality, risk, and regulatory needs
- Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases with full traceability
- Identifying opportunities to expand automation across system, integration, and UI levels
- Leading and mentoring a team of automation engineers while remaining hands-on
- Driving automation best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Basic understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Collaborating with Product Owners, developers, and system teams to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and continuous verification practices
- Providing clear and proactive stakeholder communication on automation progress, risks, and quality metrics
- Supporting estimation, planning, and risk management for automation deliverables

The IGT-S iApps R&D organization, focused on delivering advanced clinical applications with strong emphasis on automation-first, continuous verification, and integrated DevOps practices. You will work in a global, agile, and cross-functional environment across Bangalore and international teams.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 9–12 years of experience in software testing and automation
Technical Skills
- Strong programming expertise in C# (mandatory)
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Understanding of test design, quality processes, and automation strategies
Behavioral Competencies
- Proven ability to lead teams while being hands-on
- Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Ownership mindset with focus on quality, delivery, and continuous improvement
