Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and leading a team to ensure efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily shipping and receiving operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors
- Verify shipments for accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Schedule and prioritize workflow to meet production and customer deadlines
- Prepare Bills of Lading, shipping documents, and reports
- Partner with production and operations teams to improve efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics management
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
