Information Technology - IT Systems & Software Development - P3 - INDWhat you'll be doing
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and development teams to understand reporting, AI, and data quality requirements, translating them into comprehensive test strategies and validation plans.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases to validate Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, AI-powered applications, APIs, and data integration processes.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and visual presentation of reports, dashboards, KPIs, calculations, filters, drill-through functionality, and business metrics.
- Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, compliance, business usability, and identify risks such as bias, hallucinations, and data quality issues.
- Reconcile reports and AI outputs against source systems, data warehouses, APIs, and business-defined metrics to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Develop benchmark datasets, business validation scenarios, acceptance criteria, and testing frameworks for AI, analytics, and reporting solutions.
- Perform regression testing to ensure enhancements, data pipeline changes, report modifications, and AI model updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Define and implement data quality rules, validation controls, monitoring processes, and governance standards to improve overall data reliability.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating business validation, documenting findings, and ensuring successful solution adoption.
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining business knowledge assets, metadata, documentation, and business glossaries that support AI and reporting initiatives.
- Monitor reporting quality, AI performance, and data quality metrics, recommending continuous improvements to business processes, data pipelines, governance practices, and development lifecycle to prevent issues at the source.
- Document test plans, test cases, validation results, defects, and quality assurance activities to maintain complete audit and compliance records.
- Participate in AI governance, compliance, audit, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting best practices for AI adoption, reporting standards, and data quality.
- Communicate testing progress, quality status, risks, and defects effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Continuously learn emerging technologies, share best practices, and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, AI quality assurance, and reporting excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, information technology, engineering or related field
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years’ experience in reporting, data analytics and QA function
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL or relevant query languages for data validation and analysis within reporting environments.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, and enterprise AI use cases.
- Strong analytical skills to identify, report, and troubleshoot issues related to reporting accuracy and visual presentation.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate validation of reporting elements, including data, charts, and graphs.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey testing information and collaborate with reporting teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing reporting requirements, priorities, and project timelines.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional reporting teams.
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate complex report structures and identify potential areas of improvement.
