Senior Consultant (Healthcare & Life Sciences)
Application Deadline: 30 September 2026
Department: Client Delivery
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Chicago
Description
We are seeking talented healthcare and life sciences (HLS) professionals interested in helping generate strategies and implementation plans that drive a greater future for our clients. As a Senior Consultant at Kenway, you will own meaningful workstreams, engage with a diverse set of stakeholders, and solve complex problems firsthand. From early in your tenure, you’ll lead workstreams and produce solutions that target the latest business and technical challenges companies are facing today.
Core Traits We Are Seeking
- Delivery Excellence: Senior Consultants are first and foremost consulting practitioners. Candidates must embrace and demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional quality firsthand throughout Kenway’s engagements, while supporting and guiding teammates to do the same.
- Accountability: Senior Consultants must demonstrate a deep sense of integrity, personal responsibility, and follow-through. Senior Consultants are the point of accountability for the quality and progress of the workstreams they own.
- Tenacity: Under all circumstances, dynamics, and conditions, Senior Consultants are expected to think, behave, and act proactively—preemptively identifying and mitigating issues within their scope, driving progress, and escalating risks early.
- Design Thinking: Senior Consultants are expected to demonstrate creativity, intellectual fluidity, and sound problem solving, moving between conceptual problem solving and executional rigor. Senior Consultants must be capable of designing solutions within their workstream and translating them into executable plans.
- Professionalism: Given the complexity, visibility, and strategic importance of Kenway’s projects, we consistently interface with a diversity of leadership. Senior Consultants are expected to demonstrate poise, credibility, and clarity in all communications and interactions with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
- Aptitude: While Kenway possesses deep institutional expertise and proprietary frameworks, no two projects are the same. Senior Consultants are expected to demonstrate curiosity, climb learning curves quickly, and adapt solutions to the uniqueness of each client and project.
- Industry Acumen: Senior Consultants within the HLS vertical are expected to demonstrate a working understanding of industry trends, regulatory landscapes, value chains, business operations, and technical nuances unique to the life sciences and healthcare sectors, while engaging in continuous learning to broaden and deepen their expertise.
- Functional Acumen: Senior Consultants must have a sound command of programmatic skills to own workstreams, while demonstrating an understanding of Kenway’s suite of services to contribute to solutions with technical and/or non-technical scope.
- Commitment to Kenway’s Guiding Principles: Senior Consultants must steward Kenway’s culture, model expected behaviors for analysts and consultants and demonstrate unwavering commitment to our Guiding Principles.
