Work Location: 1801 N 36th St, Grand Forks, ND

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $73k - $108k annually with additional bonus potential
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs in consultation with department supervisors and the Continuous Improvement Manager; create and execute learning solutions
- Interface with OEM’s and external technical resources
- Design and develop, engaging training programs which provide content necessary to meet training and business needs of the organization
- Assist in establishing and documenting base operating skills for employees to effectively and efficiently onboard all new employees into the plant
- Maintain training program and review annually for effectiveness
- Collaborate with functional areas across the Plant to increase information sharing, performance support and training delivery skills – Train-the-Trainer
- Coordinate/Support training programs and initiatives that support the site’s CI/lean manufacturing goals
- Develop and Manage positional handbook
- Flexible to work off-shifts as needed
- Oversee Standard Work and Training Checklist development
- Coordinate and/or support the delivery of training programs
- Ensure all training activities and materials comply with relevant Plant procedures, including health and safety, quality and foods safety
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of training delivery and content development required
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and practical experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong leadership with the ability to influence a wide range of people from the shop floor to senior management
- Knowledge of learning tools and how they can be applied to business challenges
- Drives initiatives through to completion on time and on budget – results driven
- An effective teacher and trainer to which employees respond positively
- Experience in developing training content with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently
