Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team in Tczew, Poland. This is a full time, two-year fixed-term position.
## What you’ll do:
The position is part of the EMEA Mobility R&D Test Departments located in Tczew, Poland. The Senior Test Engineer contributes to defining product validation requirements, test methodologies, and test bench designs, as well as developing and optimizing test procedures.
The role involves coordinating laboratory tests, analyzing results, and preparing technical reports to support product development and validation activities.
Success in this role requires both independent initiative and effective teamwork. The Senior Test Engineer collaborates closely with engineering and validation teams across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia to support the development and validation of next-generation mobility solutions ranging from conventional powertrain products to electrified vehicle systems.
- Execute validation testing for electrified and conventional vehicle systems and components including powertrain systems, transmissions, and clutch components.
- Prepare, track, and manage testing activities in accordance with customer requirements, global standards, and IATF guidelines.
- Independently define test requirements and collaborate with global engineering teams to develop, modify, and optimize benches, fixtures, and automated test systems.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve test methods, hardware, instrumentation, and measurement systems.
## Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in testing, validation, or engineering.
## Skills:
- Advanced understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Validation methodologies and test planning knowledge.
- Instrumentation, automation, and measurement systems.
- Data analysis and root cause investigation.
- NI TestStand, LabVIEW, Vector, IMC FAMOS, Python, Jira or equivalent tools.
- Proactiveness and teamwork.
- Problem solving
- Polish language.
- English language.
