Job Description:

Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications:

This position requires the ability to work the following schedule:

• Flex position, may flex up or down in this position due to Census.
• 8 hour day shifts with start times between 6:15am-9:30am
• On Call Rotation: 1 day a week, every 4th weekend with rotating Holidays

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing 

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment ND and MN

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year

• 40hr Mandatory International Hyperbaric course scheduled and paid for by the department.  The course is built in the orientation calendar. 

• Hyperbaric Certification exam after 2-year experience in Hyperbaric Medicine
