Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to help us without EPC orders in the API-610 style LNG Pump market. SCOPE OF POSITION:Generate technical and commercial proposals for pumps and turbines to fulfill requests throughour international sales network and our customers in the LNG Industry.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review proposals and confer with management team to develop project objectives and schedule.Assign project responsibilities to development team & manage the orders ranging from development style to standard orders.Identify and outline project outlines, pacing items, critical path and resources needed to execute the deliverables.Study project design, customer requests, standards of performance and cost estimates to determine project specifications.Handle all aspects of customer service, project documentation, design, project scope changes, quality, risk and cost.Monitor project progression, resolve any issues that arise and coordinate team activities to maintain an approved schedule.Control project pace and suggest schedule changes as needed.Update management team and other project engineers on project progression, completion and any necessary updates regularly.Adhere to legal and company policies regarding a safe and clean workplace for all team members.Maintain an organized and logical database containing necessary project information and write computer programs for the database as necessary.Help drive an initiative to standardize and automate the submittal documentation for future efficiency gain.Actively contribute to the company’s team-oriented environment.KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience preferred)• Mechanical Engineering, BSME• Knowledge of a CAD system is a plus• Fundamental mechanical engineering knowledge of pump and turbine performancecurves, heat transfer and fluid dynamics• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Familiarity with PMBOK principles & Oil&Gas industry is a plusREQUIRED TRAVEL: Up to 15%, International travel may be occasionally required BENEFITS:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentChance to make a significant contribution to the company's successOpportunity to work in a startup environment and build company foundations from the ground up.
