Customer Service Representative - Domestic

Position Summary:

The CSR will interact with our customers, both end users and dealers domestically. Communication will generally be via email and, to a limited extent, phone. The position is responsible for processing customer orders, answering or finding answers to customer questions, providing quotes to customers and completing orders placed by customers, and creating export documentation. The position will also interact with internal departments including shipping, manufacturing and quality control.   

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Interact with customers (primarily by email and to a lesser extent by phone) and create rapport
2. Responsible for general product knowledge to answer customer questions
3. Provide quotes and shipping estimates for customers 
4. Enter orders and when required, complete relevant shipping documentation
5. Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers
6. Look for ways to assist the customer in the order process
7. Maintain quality service by following Company policies, procedures and standards
8. Creating shipping documentation based on product.
9. Apply customer payments to accounts for checks, credit cards and electronic payment forms.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

1. 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service or customer administration
2. Possess excellent customer service skills
3. Excellent oral & written communication skills
4. Strong phone presence and listening skills
5. Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision
6. Common sense approach to problem solving
7. Flexibility to learn special needs or requests of ongoing long-term customers
8. Detail focused nature and generally good with basic math
9. Comfort and ability to use computers, email and other related internal software programs.
10. Proficient in word, excel and data entry. SAGE experience a PLUS
11. Editing Adobe PDF
12. High School Education or GED. Associate degree helpful.
