- Partner with Finance, Billing, Procurement, IT, Information Security, Quality Assurance, reporting and data teams, and third-party vendors to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements, process designs, configuration specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the functional owner for assigned Finance technology capabilities, applications, and related integrations, maintaining a clear understanding of end-to-end business processes and upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Provide production support by investigating incidents, service requests, data discrepancies, and recurring process issues; perform functional triage, identify root causes, and coordinate sustainable resolution with technical teams and vendors.
- Configure and maintain assigned application settings, business rules, reference data, workflows, and controls within approved governance and change-management processes.
- Lead or support system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, production validation, and business sign-off for releases, enhancements, and fixes.
- Own assigned integrations from a functional perspective, including business rules, data mapping validation, reconciliation, exception review, testing, and coordination with integration developers and support teams.
- Maintain functional specifications, configuration records, process documentation, data mappings, test evidence, release notes, operating procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Support release planning, change assessment, cutover, deployment, user communications, training, and post-production stabilization.
- Monitor operational trends, recurring defects, control gaps, and manual workarounds; recommend improvements that strengthen reliability, usability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
