STRUCTURAL BIM MODELER

Develop and maintain LOD 300–500 structural models and shop drawings for Qiddiya's entertainment, sports, hospitality and infrastructure assets. Turn design intent into buildable, clash-free models and drawings for concrete, steel and rebar works.

Key Responsibilities

• Model RC structures in Revit: foundations, rafts, piles and pile caps, retaining walls, columns, slabs (including post-tensioned), beams, cores, stairs and ramps.
• Model structural steel for long-span roofs, canopies, stadium and theme-park structures, connections and secondary steel. Coordinate with Tekla where required.
• Model transfer structures, movement joints, slab drops, embedment's and openings for MEP shafts and services.
• Produce structural shop drawings: GA plans, sections, elevations and details.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules (BS 8666 or project standard).
• Prepare pour-sequence, construction-joint and embedment/sleeve layout drawings.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks against architectural, MEP and infrastructure models, and track issues to closure.
• Coordinate penetrations, sleeves and block-outs with MEP disciplines.
• Extract quantities (concrete, formwork, rebar, steel tonnage) to support QS and progress measurement.
• Update models to LOD 500 as-built from site records and populate asset data for Cobie/digital handover.
• Follow the project BEP, Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) BIM standards, ISO 19650 and CDE workflows (ACC/BIM 360, Aconex).
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and respond to RFIs and design changes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering, or a recognized BIM/drafting qualification.
• 5+ years of structural BIM modelling, with 3+ years on GCC projects.
• Experience on large RC and steel structures such as stadiums, entertainment venues, hospitality, multi-level basements or car parks.
• Hands-on experience producing reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Preferred: experience on a PIF giga-project (Qiddiya, NEOM, Diriyah, ROSHN, Red Sea), exposure to post-tensioned slabs and long-span steel, and Revit Certified Professional or ISO 19650 training.

Revit Structure (expert), Tekla Structures (advanced), Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, Dynamo, ACC/BIM 360, Aconex. Knowledge of ISO 19650, BS 8666, ACI and SBC 304 detailing standards.
