Job Summary
The Handyman is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks to ensure facilities, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings, offices, and facilities.• Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures.• Conduct repairs, including faucets, toilets, light fixtures and bulbs.• Complete carpentry work including repairs, installations, and modifications.• Paint and perform touch-up work as needed.• Inspect facilities regularly and identify maintenance needs or potential safety concerns.• Assemble, install, and move furniture, equipment, and office fixtures.• Maintain building grounds, walkways, and exterior areas.• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and outstanding repairs.• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized services are required.• Follow all company safety policies and applicable building regulations
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.• 2+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, or handyman experience preferred.• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair techniques.• Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and safety procedures.• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely.• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Compensation Range: $38 - $42 per hour
