Position Summary: The Data Analyst maintains and governs enterprise data across Oracle ERP, AS400, and related business systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. This role supports data quality initiatives, system enhancements, and process standardization while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve business operations and decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Create, maintain, validate, and govern enterprise master, transactional, and reference data across Oracle ERP, AS400, and related business systems.
• Monitor data quality, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established governance standards, business rules, and controls.
• Research, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies, duplicate records, system exceptions, and cross-system inconsistencies while implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain items, material, supplier, pricing, purchasing, and classification data, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, naming conventions, and attribute requirements.
• Coordinate and implement approved data changes, including validation, testing, data conversion, and documentation activities related to system enhancements and ERP initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data governance documentation, standard operating procedures, data definitions, and process standards to support consistency across the organization.
• Serve as a data stewardship resource by supporting business users, providing training on data standards and controls, and promoting accountability for data integrity. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, standardize processes, support reporting needs, and advance enterprise data governance initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in data management, ERP systems, manufacturing operations, business systems support, or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, AS400, or similar enterprise systems, including data governance, data quality, testing, implementations, and process improvement activities preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, item, supplier, pricing, and cost-related data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reconciliation, and data validation skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data standards, processes, and system solutions.
• Strong communication, organizational, documentation, training, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with reporting and analytics tools preferred.
• Oracle ERP Experience strongly preferred.
• Able to travel for meetings, training, site visits, or business-related activities, as required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to maintain a stationary position, either seated or standing, for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
