Overview

A warm, welcoming family in Manhattan's Union Square area seeks a reliable, experienced, fluent Mandarin-speaking Nanny to care for their 2-year-old son. Both parents speak Mandarin fluently and want someone who can naturally incorporate the language into their child's daily routine while providing attentive, nurturing, developmentally appropriate care.

The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and somewhat reserved personality, allowing the child opportunities for independent play and exploration rather than directing every activity. The family values someone who is responsible, punctual, communicative, and comfortable collaborating with parents who are occasionally home during the day.

This is a live-out position with a Monday through Friday schedule and approximately 40 hours per week, including flexibility for one evening per week with advance notice. The family's current nanny will be departing toward the end of the year, and they are flexible on the start date to ensure a smooth transition.Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week.
