Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support Finance Data Warehouse and broader Finance transformation projects.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources.
This is an Analyst level position within the Portfolio & Change Management Job Family which manages strategic change management, process re-engineering, and establishment of control procedures for projects with a focus on milestone delivery across projects, managing risks and issues that impact program objectives and facilitating communication across related projects and impacted stakeholders to keep programs on track.

What you'll do in the role:
The Finance Centralised Management project team is responsible for managing a considerable percentage of Finance's technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including, Finance Data Warehouse, Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. The team is also front and centre of the technology architecture discussions. The team supports Global and local regulatory driven initiatives across Financial and Capital Reporting including Basel 3, Capital Calculators, FED, SEC, PRA & EBA reporting initiatives as well firm level initiatives for better data sourcing & data quality.
This role requires candidate to support finance data warehouse projects by documenting requirements in the form of user stories, defining and testing acceptance criteria, performing functional and regression testing, and liaising with end users to obtain sign off.
• Analyse existing Finance processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and process improvement.
• Gather, understand and document business requirements, process flows and functional specifications.
• Develop test scenarios, execute testing, document results and support user acceptance testing.
• Investigate defects, data issues and process exceptions, and coordinate their resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, requirement logs, trackers, dashboards, issues and action items.
• Prepare clear project updates, management summaries and presentation materials.
• Support solution deployment, user documentation, knowledge transfer and post-implementation activities.
• Support the development and implementation of digital, automation, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
• Use AI and Generative AI tools to improve research, analysis, documentation, reporting and day-to-day productivity.
• Assist in developing and testing AI use cases, prompts, workflows and business solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliations and control checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Contribute to AI awareness sessions, knowledge-sharing forums, demonstrations and digital adoption initiatives.
• Coordinate with Finance users, process owners, Technology teams and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions, demonstrations and internal digital adoption initiatives.
• Ensure solutions and project documentation are aligned with applicable Finance controls, governance and data-quality standards.
What you'll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Business, Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Ability to understand business processes, identify improvement opportunities and translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data accuracy and detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, reconciliations and structured reporting.
• Ability to prepare clear and professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Understanding of project delivery activities such as requirements gathering, testing, issue tracking and stakeholder coordination.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts, including prompt creation, output validation and responsible use of AI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage assigned deliverables, prioritise activities and work effectively within agreed timelines.
• Collaborative, accountable and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Finance, business analysis, data analytics, automation, reporting, consulting or digital transformation.
