Hauenstein 2 Stepdown is a 16-bed, multi-specialty stepdown unit dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our nurses care for a diverse and complex patient population, including medical-surgical stepdown, oncology stepdown, trauma stepdown, and sepsis patients, providing a higher level of monitoring and clinical support while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Our RNs:
- Care for complex medical-surgical, oncology, trauma, and sepsis stepdown patients
- Perform advanced patient assessments and monitoring
- Enhance critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Build expertise in managing step down patients
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and fellow nurses
- Play a key role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
- Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
- In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months)
- Experience as an RN required.
