Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Test Engineer level 1 to work with a team of engineers with the Test and Evaluation Department that will be performing lab duties and performing tests by following procedures to ensure product capability.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test and Evaluation Engineering department, Advanced Weapons division. This role is 100% on site at our Northridge, Ca site with no remote or hybrid opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with facilities for any issues pertaining to the lab environment
- Working with the engineers to understand needs for benches and equipment
- Working with the Metrology department to ensure calibration is up to date on equipment.
- Perform tests using Acceptance Test Procedures
- Support team with making process improvements
- Communicate between different members of the team to move product and get past any obstacles
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 0 years of experience
- Understanding of Excel and MS office
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to obtain an Active government issued Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
