Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
- Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
- Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
This role is ideal for assistants who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their skills and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Compensation: $16 - $19 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set:
- 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
- Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques
- Client education and communication
- Effective teamwork and professional communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
