Way of Work: Onsite 5 days per week


Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm


Job Summary
The Dispatch Work Coordinator will be responsible for reconciliation of NiSource initiatives supported by the IC and related to various regulatory, compliance, and company requirements that must be met in relation to job order creation, customer satisfaction, scheduling, and contractor management.


Essential Functions
Works with IC Leadership to enhance IC related processes in order to better support our internal business and field partners.

  • Develops, runs, and analyzes reports regarding performance measures, trackers, IC regulatory initiatives, etc.
  • Develops and utilizes databases and spreadsheets to track key IC projects
  • Designs, codes, tests, and documents all new or modified IC systems, processes, and programs
  • Reviews current processes and initiatives in order to gain efficiencies where possible.
  • High level of data quality and reliability
  • Effective data analysis and management reporting
  • Proactive communication with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional, useful, and understandable reports and graphics
  • Collaborative work relationships that focus on both the quality of the technical solution as well as organizational acceptance



Required Qualifications For Position

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university preferably in Engineering, Business, Economics or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years in a business analyst/specialist, systems analyst/specialist, data analyst/specialist or equivalent role
  • Experience facilitating projects
  • Familiar with design and creation of reports and analytical tools
  • Proficient data management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve goals
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw well-supported conclusions
  • Establish plans and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Focus on internal and external customers
  • Ability to analyze and communicate performance data
  • Demonstrate adaptability
  • Demonstrate drive and commitment to achieve business results
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of existing IC processes and regulatory requirements (Trackers, Customer Databases, Ohio Minimum Gas Standards. Etc.)
  • Advanced technical skills with computers and software
  • Ability to communicate data needs to internal and external contractors
  • Proficiency with WMS, DIS, CIS, and WLRS,
  • Advanced ability to understand commission rules and regulations, rates and tariffs
  • Advanced understanding of day-to-day cross functional utility operations, including Meter to Cash, Field Operations, Engineering, Customer Call Centers, Integration Center activities, etc.

Salary Range*:

$54,000.00 - $75,500.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
