Role at a Glance
Based in our Loveland, CO office, the Civil Engineering Project Manager leads designers and support staff to turn client visions into built projects. This role blends client partnership, civil design, and team leadership, with the flexibility and support to run projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Lead project teams and oversee efficient design and plan preparation from kickoff through completion
• Identify design criteria and solve project challenges using engineering calculations and applicable design standards
• Establish project controls to maintain technical quality, accuracy, profitability, schedules, and staff coordination
• Lead plan processing and coordinate project approvals with public agencies
• Manage client communication, proposals, scope and fee negotiations, billing, collections, and change orders
• Manage and mentor design engineers and CAD staff in engineering procedures, standards, and techniques

What You’ll Need

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and active Colorado P.E. license
• 10+ years of experience in technical applications, project management, and staff interaction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land development design, including grading, drainage, streets, sewers, storm drains, and utilities
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to apply civil engineering principles in a service-oriented business environment
• Experience preparing grading plans, utility plans, site plans, and preliminary cost estimates
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for a highly visible role with clients, agencies, and internal teams

Salary and Benefits
Salary range for position $115,000/yr - $150,000/yr
