Overview

Incumbents in the Coordinator Service series provide a diverse range of customer service and/or routine general services and support to a specified department or area. Incumbents may perform clerical services, equipment operation, basic maintenance and repair, materials handling, logistical support, and/or other related duties in accordance with the day-to-day requirements of the specified department or area.

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee the day-to-day operations of Aggie Shuttle, including driving routes
  • May coordinate events and activities
  • Train, guide, and oversee student and/or part-time employees
  • Update and maintain operations manuals
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned area
  • Participate in meetings as required
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
  • May process faculty requests
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • May schedule, bill, and staff events
  • Maintain relationships and coordinate special projects with University staff, students, and the general public
  • Establish, maintain, and update files, records, and other documents
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current CDL preferred or ability to obtain CDL within the first two months of employment
  • Six years of experience; or an associate degree plus four years of experience; or a bachelor's degree plus two years of experience is required.
  • Must have basic computer and other office equipment skills.

    Advertised Salary

    Minimum $43,000 plus excellent benefits

    Employees may work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. Employees often use repetitive hand motions and may be required to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) for distances greater than five feet. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions, such as crawling, kneeling, squatting, sitting.
